Abdulmohsen AlBazie is the Head of the Structured Finance Division, Samba Financial Group. In his current role at the bank as the Head of Structured Finance Division, Abdulmohsen is supporting clients/companies and the bank to initiate, engineer, structure and participate in specialized financing transactions in the fields of project finance, investment/acquisition finance, real estate finance, and asset-backed financing. Abdulmohsen is responsible for facilitating and developing structures that are bankable to debt providers and support the growth of the bank’s clients. He was also Structured and Project Finance Transactor for Banque Saudi Fransi, where his responsibilities were Origination, development, due diligence and approval of private/government sector structured/project financing including syndicated deals. Abdulmohsen AlBazie has a degree of Bachelor in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral. DirectFN specializes in providing Financial Technology (FinTech); Financial Content (FinCon) and Financial Regulatory (FinReg) solutions ranging from, Market Information Screens, to Brokerage/Asset/Custody Management Systems and AML /Surveillance Systems deployed in some of the largest financial institutions across the Middle East and South Asia. He also is a Board Member at Saudi Payments which is a spinoff of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and acts as the operator of the national payment infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abdullah has a degree of MBA – Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management. Mr. Alsuweilmy has over 30 years of experience in Technology, Finance, Capital Markets, and Leadership. He played a key role in the overhaul of the Saudi capital market and lead the establishment and development of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to become the leader among its peers in the region and one of the major emerging markets globally. In recent years, Abdullah has chaired/served on boards of various companies (state-owned, private and family-owned) as an independent board member. Abdullah Almarzuki is the Head of PMO at Abdul Latif Jameel United Finance Co. (ALJUF), a closed joint-stock company under license by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA).
Abdullah is a Computer Engineering graduate from King Saud University. He has more than 17 years of experience in performing banking and IT. He is a detail-oriented PMO head and strategic solutions provider with outstanding project management and conflict management skills. He has extensive knowledge of driving solutions that bridge the gap between business and technology with expertise in managing complex programs and multiple concurrent projects.
During his tenure, Abdullah has set up a successful Portfolio Management Office (PMO), successfully delivered projects of more than SR 200 Million, successfully saved more than 20% of project cost and came up with new technologies that improved organization processes like Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation. He is also responsible for directing PMO teams in developing high-quality programs to solve business problems and provide tangible results for enterprise-level financial systems and legacy workflow systems.
