Jalal is a Retail CRM Strategy expert and a product owner of Digital Personalization at
Raiffeisen Bank International AG. He holds a degree in digital strategy from Columbia Business
school and an Executive General Management certificate from Xavier Institute of Management
With more than 14 years of banking experience in different regions, Jalal has always focused on
driving digital business with data. He believes in fintech partnerships and organized several
events and workshops in many countries to identify and discuss the win-win business model.
Jalal has been an active member of many platforms that promote collaboration and innovation
including WSBI, Elevator Lab and mobey forum where he co-chaired the banking Disruption
group.
During his time in this region, Jalal led the development of many firsts in the region including
voice banking, Digital charity platform, Smart sales module, card control and the National ID
integration with the UAE banking system.
Jalal also led the launch of the first international mobile payment and the first chatbot in the
banking sector which received ‘the innovation of the month award’ from EFMA
Before leaving the UAE to Austria, Jalal was the Vice president of Mashreq’s mobile app Snappone
the most awarded apps in the region.
