Shatha Edrees is the Director-General Management of Finance at Effat University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and an adjunct lecturer of Finance and Investment courses in the College of Business. Shatha holds an MBA in strategic management from the Maastricht School of Management, and an Executive Masters in Islamic finance from the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) in conjunction with Rotterdam School of Management, ERASMUS University delivered at Effat University. She is a CFA level-2 candidate. She is the first and only Saudi female to hold the Chartered Market Technician, CMT designation, besides, she is a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe), and a member of the Society of Technical Analysts.
