Zhamal Nanaeva is an accomplished researcher in the field of Islamic finance and Fintech, with a strong academic foundation. She holds a BA in Economics from Kyrgyz State National University and an MSc in Finance and Banking from the British University in Dubai. Zhamal’s Master’s thesis focused on the comparative analysis of risks in sukuk and conventional bonds.

Pavel Fedorov was a Co-Chief Executive Officer of Tinkoff in 2021-22. Prior to that in 1997- 2010 he spent 13 years at Morgan Stanley, most of it in the Telecoms, Media and Technology Group. In 2011-2020 Pavel worked in executive roles on strategic and operational transformation of several London Stock Exchange-listed companies. Pavel holds an MBA from the University of Washington and Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Novosibirsk State University.

As CEO and Co-Founder of Treasury Prime, Chris is responsible for all aspects of Treasury Prime’s strategy, execution, and operations. Prior to launching Treasury Prime, he served as CTO of “API first” company Standard Treasury. When the startup was acquired by Silicon Valley Bank, he took on the role of CTO of API banking for SVB. Earlier in his career, Chris founded or co-founded software companies including Merced Systems (enterprise software), Kyluka (a consulting firm), and Benefitter (ACA-based health plan.) Chris started his career as technical staff in the Machine Learning Systems Group of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He studied physics at California Institute of Technology.

Adam “Sully” Perella is a Technical Director who leads the PIN and P2PE service lines for Schellman Compliance LLC. His focus also includes the Software Security Framework, 3-Domain Secure services (3DS), and external vulnerability scans as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV).

Sully’s experience in information technology began in 2004 as a networking, switching, computer systems, and cryptological operations technician in the Air Force. He then moved into a quality assurance role for the communications squadrons that broadened his exposure to different technologies and enterprise-level concepts. While in the service, he obtained his associate degree in Information Systems and his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. After leaving the Air Force, Sully worked in data analysis and then began his career as an assessor in 2012, with 403 Labs, where he found his passion for information security.

After beginning in the payments space, Sully ramped up to validate payment applications, point-to-point encryption, perform penetration testing, and forensic services.

Sully maintains multiple certifications within information security and payments. Active within the payments community, he helps draft new payments standards and speaks globally on payment security.
