Sougata is an Engineer from the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), MESRA, India. He has attended the MS-MBA dual degree program at the Boston University School of Management, USA, where he received three prestigious scholarships. The dual degree comprised an MBA in Finance and an MS in Information Systems. He is also a CFA Charterholder from CFA Institute, USA.
