Mr. Badrinarayanan, spent more than 6 years at MSCI, developing its India business related to Indexes, Analytics & ESG. He grew MSCI’s business and presence in India at a rapid pace to its pre-eminence in the sub-continent & played an important role in initiating ESG ratings of over 200 listed Indian companies. Before MSCI, Chandru Badrinarayanan spent nearly 12 years at CRISIL Limited (a Standard & Poor’s company) where he held several director-level business development roles, including responsibility for the development and promotion of their risk solutions business. Prior to joining CRISIL, he spent nine years at Corporation Bank in various roles including merchant banking and as a dealer of debt securities in its treasury and in various other firms in sales & manufacturing between 1987 to 1991.
Mr. Badrinarayanan is an alum of INSEAD Business School & a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI.
