Abdullah is the Chairman of the Board of DirectFN. DirectFN specializes in providing Financial Technology (FinTech); Financial Content (FinCon) and Financial Regulatory (FinReg) solutions ranging from, Market Information Screens, to Brokerage/Asset/Custody Management Systems and AML /Surveillance Systems deployed in some of the largest financial institutions across the Middle East and South Asia.
He also is a Board Member at Saudi Payments which is a spinoff of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and acts as the operator of the national payment infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Abdullah has a degree of MBA – Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation and Global Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.
Mr. Alsuweilmy has over 30 years of experience in Technology, Finance, Capital Markets, and Leadership. He played a key role in the overhaul of the Saudi capital market and lead the establishment and development of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to become the leader among its peers in the region and one of the major emerging markets globally. In recent years, Abdullah has chaired/served on boards of various companies (state-owned, private and family-owned) as an independent board member.
