Shaima is a commercial tech leader with over fifteen years of experience building & leading commercial teams for tech companies in e-commerce, payments, and digital media. Shaima’s professional global exposure ranges broadly from global multi-nationals, startup, as well as a founder. As an ex-Booking.com & Yahoo!, Shaima spearheaded the region’s expansion and growth and lately led Tamara’s (an Arab BNPL company) commercial developments by managing their multi-market teams across the Middle East & Africa. Shaima has worked with high-profile brands and has generated over $15B of revenue across key industries such as airlines, financial institutions, telcos, e-commerce, FMCG, and government entities and built a strong network of C-level individuals. Shaima’s passion is to work with organizations to drive gender parity in the workplace and leadership positions.
