Sahel Alrousan is a Senior Economic Advisor at the UAE Ministry of Finance, with a wealth of experience in macro-fiscal policy, regional economic integration, planning and implementation of government policy, economic feasibility assessment, and higher education. His research interests cover international trade, energy, and financial markets. With a Bachelor of Economics from Yarmouk University, and MA and PhD in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University, Alrousan has held a variety of positions throughout his career, including Economic Advisor to the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Deputy Dean at the College of Business Administration, Assistant Professor of Economics, and Manager of the Training and Continuing Education Center at the Ajman University of Science and Technology. Alrousan is passionate about the potential of economics and how to effectively communicate it to decision-makers. He is dedicated to helping people understand the importance of economic policy and how it can be used to create a better future.
