With over six years of extensive experience in Zambia’s startup ecosystem, Mwewa has been instrumental in launching and scaling ventures across various industries, including fintech, ed-tech, e-commerce, food production, and bespoke furniture manufacturing.
Mwewa co-founded and led Afrimeta Technologies, where he served as CEO. Afrimeta Technologies introduced Zambia’s first construction and auto marketplace, B2BTRADERR, revolutionizing the way businesses operate in these sectors. Additionally, he has successfully developed consumer brands such as UNCLE GEORGE’S PEANUT BUTTER and OPAL LUXURY, showcasing his versatility and entrepreneurial spirit.

His leadership extends beyond business as he serves as a Trustee of the Central Province chapter of the Zambia-USA Alumni Exchange Commission Board. He is also the co-founder and a board member of The Amano Society of Pure and Applied Physics, Zambia’s first independent physics research society, where he serves as Director of Public Relations.
