As Chief Investment Officer at Injaz Capital, Paula leads strategic investment initiatives, leveraging her deep expertise in identifying high-growth opportunities.

Previously, Paula served as Principal at SwissBorg Ventures, where she focused on venture capital, driving impactful investments in innovative startups. Her entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Genesis Capital LATAM, where she successfully managed the Quant Arbitrage Fund, consistently delivering alpha through cutting-edge quantitative strategies. She also co-founded Wethaq, an Islamic fintech startup pioneering Sharia-compliant financial solutions.

Paula’s leadership extends to the global stage, where she has served on the World Business Angels Forum (WBAF) Global Startup Committee and represented WBAF as a commissioner in the UAE.

She holds a B.A. in International Finance and an MSc in Financial Engineering, specializing in Automated Trading Systems, reflecting her strong foundation in financial innovation and technology.
