Johan Kragbaek is a Senior Vice President of Business Development at Greenstone Equity Partners, an institutional-grade advisory firm headquartered in Dubai, UAE, and the largest fund placement agent in the GCC. Mr. Kragbaek oversees the development and growth of new business lines, including the Regulatory Compliance Program (RCP), which enables fund managers to raise capital for alternative investment vehicles in compliance with local regulations, and Billions.ae, a direct-to-HNWI private equity investment platform.
Prior to Greenstone, he was the Co-CEO of Private Equity Insights, a leading PE and financial services promotion company. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led sales and renewed service strategies, transforming the company from a conference-focused model into broader media, ensuring its continuity as a key industry connector. As a Management Associate at Nova Founders Capital, a London-based venture capital firm and business incubator, he focused on building companies, including SetSales, which he founded and developed into Northern Europe’s leading sales conference before shifting into an advisory role.
Mr. Kragbaek began his career as a professional soldier in the Royal Danish Army, gaining international leadership experience through deployments and exercises with NATO.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Global Business Engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark, and a Certificate of Executive Education in Strategic Innovation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
